8 day pendulum movement strikes the half hours on a nickel bell. Round, three plate, signed movement, small fancy pendulum hangs outside the round movement box, behind the statue, running and striking very well. Metal back door with latch. Porcelain dial, fancy hands, French sash, beveled glass. Someone made an attempt to clean the case and left the brass polish in the grooves. We removed most of the residue without a lot of effort; the remainder in the grooves may take some effort. 75% or more of the gold finish still intact on the case, very little on the cherub. Even with the minor problems mentioned it is a very attractive clock. Ly-Gilbert #877.
