A label on the back of the case says, "221 HOLLY 8 Day Half Hour Gong Strike". Gilbert imported the identical case style, with a round movement that was called the "Imported Royal Hanover". The unsigned movement in this clock is 8 day, outside count wheel, strikes a standing gong on hours and half hours. The case is 14.5" high, 12.5" wide. Gilbert's catalogs show the Royal Hanover at 15.25" high, 13.5" wide. Gilbert has an almost identical case, their "Porcelain No. 5545", that was also 15.25" high. This case is light green trim around cream porcelain, pink and blue flowers, a small amount of gold accent. No breaks or repairs, a few small insignificant hairlines. 2 piece porcelain dial, open escapement, original hands, brass sash, and beveled glass. It sure looks like an Ansonia, but no such luck .
