This is not a new clock and has been used by a previous owner, but it remained with the original carton which is most unusual. I am slowly learning about clocks. It now appears that most, if not all of the Columbus Clock's were sold or awarded as gifts and prizes by any number of companies. Like the Ignatz above, it is not a timekeeper but will entertain you when the electricity goes off.
