Original tarnished, stamped brass case, 13" high plus hanger and chain, all glass present and original; original milk glass dial is cracked and hardly noticeable; numerals repainted. The colored glass and milk glass dial will glow in the dark when a candle is burning inside. The thin brass case is perforated all over, in systematic designs, to allow heat and smoke to escape. The base of the case is stamped two places, "Bradley & Hubbard Mf'g Co." and, "Patented Sept. 14, 1888". We rarely see these for sale except at auctions where they seem to bring anywhere from $800 to $2000. This clock is pictured on the cover of "Horology Americana".
