Excellent walnut case is 20" high, covered with etched designs, decorated columns, finials, and several applied buttons and other things. Perfect glass, a patented brass slow-fast regulating pendulum, a nice full label, nickel accessories including the dial rings and bell. The only change made in the last 120 years was a new paper dial. The case was refinished some time ago and has retained the rich walnut color. Movement is 8 day, strikes hourly, and runs great. A really attractive old clock. Ly-New Haven #1421 is identical to this clock.
