If I had the time to clean the dust off, apply some Nu-Life finish, it may well be a $1000 clock. It has some tendencies toward the cuckoo style but more toward an early Morbier style. Case of oak, including the dial. Porcelain cartouche numerals, one of which has been repaired. Hands enameled by a modern day horologist, I suspect. Black hands would be hard to see against the dark dial. There are carvings top to bottom, nice grained columns, etchings, and turnings. The case is 25" high and 15" wide. In the morbier style the 8 day movement is in an iron box, large springs enclosed in barrels. Running and striking on 2 extra long rods. The iron box is stamped "203", while the pendulum is stamped "230"?? This could be a fine clock if someone will spend a little time cleaning it.
