One day movement is signed, "Patented Oct. 10, 1876". The dial ring is signed, "Pat. May 1, 76". Leaves a lot to be desired. I would hope you would install a new paper dial. That is the good and near good, the bad is that Pawpaw took out the strike side gears and the alarm. The gears that are there are running just fine. Who needs a strike and alarm? .
