Ansonia Clock Co. porcelain case, unmarked and unnamed, as a great many of their clocks are.
Anonymous (not verified)
23 October 2024
At least one third of the Ansonia porcelains are unnamed and not pictured in any of the catalogs. This is a nice clean case, no faults or repairs, stands 11.75" high and 9.5" wide. Color is somewhere between Ruby and Brown, lots of gold and flowers. 8 day movement strikes half hours on a standing gong, correct pendulum and back door cover. French sash, heavy beveled glass, 2 piece porcelain dial with open escapement, correct hands, all near perfect.
