Red mahogany adamantine finish, adamantine onyx columns and sides. The clock case has never been cleaned, although not real dirty, but the so called, "gold-plated metal ornaments and feet" are almost black. There is some gold peeking thru so it may clean up and be real nice. A factory date stamp on the base is also 1917. Movement is 8 day, hour and half hour strike on a cathedral bell. Convex 5 inch dial and convex glass in the dull gilt sash. Painted metal dial looks like it would be very nice if only cleaned. Case is 16" wide, 11 inches high. Complete and original except for a missing back door. Ly-Seth Thomas #1196.
