English cabinet case is 12.25" high with marqueterie and brass feet. The mahogany wood and marqueterie inlay are really great for a clock put in the shed with other junk for over 10 years. Maybe it is the dial and movement that caused it to be put aside. The 4" white convex porcelain dial looks like it has been hit with a hammer right on the winding arbor, then an attempted repair was made and failed. The wheels are missing from the strike side of the 8 day movement, and it is dirty, but will function as a timepiece only. The cathedral bell is also gone. Ly-Seth Thomas #1046.
