The movement, dial, and label, are all signed the same way. The 8 day movement is strike and alarm, striking a coil gong, and alarms on a brass bell. The movement is held in the case by mounting blocks and has stamped plates, raised ridges, and runs unceasingly. The mahogany veneered case is 20" high, with a frosted glass, possibly replaced, original zinc dial with good paint and signature. Full backboard label, right finial tip chipped off a speck. Ly-Ingraham, page 57, features this movement and case.
