The unsigned 8 day movement is held by mounting blocks, strong brass construction, Geneva stops, bell strike, clean and running. A really super looking walnut case, 28" long, carved wings on the sides, carved trim underneath the bottom glass, rolled bottom design so typical of the English cases. The wood inlay around the edges is just outstanding. The case has been refinished front and back, and even inside. The top is held to the body with 3 pegs. There is only one negative and it can be corrected. There is a new paper dial over the old painted zinc pan.
