Sessions Clock Company hanging clock, "Regulator No. 6", C. 1912, one of the company's best wall clocks.
This is a large 60" oak cased clock, 8 day, 2 weight, time only movement. Beat seconds, dead-beat escapement with second hand, 2 brass weights. We are unsure if the weights are original to the clock even though they are the type they used. They have no caps top or bottom and the hooks are not original to the weights. The quarter sawn oak case has the original finish, now somewhat crazed Oak pieces have been arranged inside so that the nice oak grains are displayed to the fullest. It should need nothing but cleaning or polish. 2 key locks on the side, large brass hinges to support the large full door. Brass bob and wood stick, hands, dial pan, all original. No new screw holes in the bezel, believe the screws are also original. Probably used in a school or similar place and the number "EE1573" is painted inside the case. The dial paper is probably new and is fine unless you choose to paint on the old pan. Like all the clocks in this collection from storage, it is running fine. Surely will need some oil soon.
