The Smith's small green label is overpasted on a full brown label. Previous "label inspectors" have removed small portions of the label so am unable to determine the addresses for sure. I have spent far too much time researching this clock so I move on and let you collectors of early clocks figure it out. There are numerous references to this company in the Bulletin articles. The fine mahogany veneer case is 28.25" high, no veneer problems, great original carvings, unusual urn finials, very good original tablet with minor paint loss, beautiful large wood dial with lots of gold, period weights, hands, and pendulum. Naturally there will be some minor things not up to par, such as a sliver of veneer off on one side, a corner nick or so, all insignificant when you think of the age of this old clock.
