Condition: despite needing the items mentioned, this is a well made and early cuckoo, with a Very large and imposing bird that exposes himself at the 2 doors at the apex of the case. The dial mask is inlaid with fretted brass, silver and pastel enamel, some inlay is lifting. The porcelain dial is good (minor cracks around center hole), and the hands are original. Bellows have minor leaks but both notes report loudly; corner chips to case. Potential here for the collector of unusual black forest items. Height 27 inches
