Condition: Mahogany veneered case is in excellent condition with original finish and stencils (stencil with eagle and ÓUNIONÒ in banner). Sides of case appear to be faux grained to simulate birdseye; fronts of chimneys are veneered with birdseye (original)/ Top of the eagle splat was chewed by a mouse and will need a little attention. Original dial with some fading of the inner chapter rings. Hands are original. Tablet is not original, but from the age of the putty, it was done quite a while ago. Carved feet are outstanding, no chips nor broken toes. Weights original. Especially nice label. Height 25 inches
