Condition: This is an original clock that has suffered the indignity of being painted gold to match some other furniture. The well made movement is to the highest standards, with one piece porcelain dial, slender hands, cast bezel and delicate spoked pulleys. There are plenty of reference books that could guide you on refinishing the case (Kaltenbock for instance, or Ortenburger). There is also a hole drilled through the case back where a bolt was used to hold the clock to the wall. This early clock has lots of potential for the right collector who likes to do restoration. Height 46 inches
