Condition: Very good original condition. This is an attractive clock with unusual ebony veneer containing light streaks (almost looks like tortoise shell); on the case front are ivorene inlays (with minor age cracks), the whole supported on 4 brass ball feet. The robust and well made movement retains original chains and pendulum tie down; runs and strikes the hours on a coiled flat wire gong. There is a special little key for opening the front brass bezel and rear door, so take care not to misplace it. Overall a well made clock ready to enjoy. Height 14 inches
