Condition: the movement has been recently cleaned and restrung and the case risers reinforced to accept the seat board. The latch for the door is missing, we found a spare latch on his workbench that can be adapted. Currently door is held closed by a piece of brass rod inserted in a hole drilled from the side of the case into the edge of the door. Other nicks, scrapes and loose joints, loose right return. Original weights and pendulum. G. H. Baillie lists Benj Barlow in Oldham from 1773-1780. Height 84 inches
