C.1828 Riley Whiting, 30-hour time and strike wood movement pillar and scroll shelf clock. Condition: Mahogany veneered case was refinished some time ago and with nice patina. The feet, which appear original, have been shortened. The tablet, which appears to be a repaint on the original glass, is now cracked, single vertical crack. The veneer in the door has been repaired in a couple of places and the key escutcheon was replaced with wood. The tips of the scrolls have been repaired. The finials are recent replacements. The original dial is in very nice condition and the movement is correct. The clock has an original set of dust covers. Height 31 inches
