Condition: Case has one broken corner and another repaired and has chips in various places. The hands are original. Thetis was one of the Daughters of Nereus. Thetis provided her son, Achilleus, with armor made by Hephaistos, the blacksmith of the gods. [Note Thetis is half-sitting on an anvil, her foot resting on a helmet and a shield stands at her side] Statue with bronzierÕs Gold Medal stamp from 1867, the stamp repeated on the movement. This was an expensive clock when new. Heavy. Height 23 inches
