8 day movement is signed, "Chelsea Clock Co., Boston", and serial number "531667". It strikes on a gong. A Chelsea signed key is in the case. The case, dial, glasses, movement, all near perfect except for a break to the scroll top near the right finial and the left finial. Some oaf bumped it. Repairs have been made and you will have to inspect closely to detect trouble. Usually it is the ears and feet that are broken, not this time. Mahogany case is 25 inches high to finial tip. This is a fine clock, with an original gold leaf tablet and painted dial.
