Ansonia Clock Co. double weight, "Capitol", ca 1901. Oak case is 54 inches high, all finials look to be matching, brass pendulum, weights, dial ring, and beat scale are all polished. Two piece porcelain dial with seconds dial, signed and clean. One small repair by the left wind arbor. The movement is 8 day, 2 weight, time only, runs real well. In fact all of this collection is running properly. Case has been professionally cleaned. This model has 3 glasses and lots of finials, perhaps copying the Vienna regulator clocks. All of the clocks in this collection are clean and would please most collections, however, if you are a purist and demand an original finish, none of the clocks in this collection are for you.
