This must have been a poplar case style and color as this is the 4th one we have had, and another is coming for this auction. The case has a lot of style with the open loops, flame top, shell bottom. Color is off white, some gold accent, and nice purple, rose and yellow flowers painted on the case. The movement is typical 8 day, half hour strike. Two piece porcelain dial, open escapement, beveled glass, clean and polished brass. Another case from this Ansonia collection that appears in all respects to be perfect. We have sold this model, as have other auctions, upwards of 2000 dollars. Ly-Ansonia, page 638.
