E. Howard, Boston 95 - 144", so stamped on the 8 day weight movement of this Reissue banjo no. 95.

The mahogany case is also stamped "144". Case is 42 inches high, I could say mint perfect, but will lower it to near mint because of one tiny flaw. The throat panel as you know has screws top and bottom to hold the panel. Someone tightened the top screws too tight which split the wood. You can't see it because it is under the dial, and it has been repaired, but nonetheless it is there. Brass ornaments, white enamel dial, excellent painted panels. This is a beautiful, identical to the early original No. 95 banjo, and it is running. The early No. 95 models in this condition are selling for 3500 dollars and up. Ly-American #429.
