19 inches tall mahogany veneered case; a few chips were repaired; good condition for the age, old glass, lower frosted glass is excel-lent. Door lock with brass escutcheon. Original dial touched up around center shaft and winding arbors. Label read-able. 8-day time and strike movement stamped "Brewster & Ingrahams". Still retains old 1 inch thick brass main-springs, minute hand old replacement, runs and strikes fine; recommend servicing. Reference: Book of American Clocks by Brooks Palmer, p. 157. .
