It is 83 inches high, 21 inches wide, with 3 doors, all with locks and keys. The top door allows access to the dial and movement; the middle door has a heavy beveled glass. The bevel is one half inch. The bottom door gives access to a storage area with shelves. The clock makers in that part of the world went more for plain, rather than a lot of bells and whistles. There are some carved places on the top door and the base, and rope twist on both sides, carvings above and below the rope twist. Round bun feet. If you have never seen a year running clock you are in for a treat. It is heavy duty and very much out of the ordinary. There are double clicks on the great wheel, fine adjustment on distance between the anchor and escape wheel, maintaining power, fixed pallets, 6 wheels, and running. Nice 10 inch painted metal dial is signed, "Ant. Kaspar", and "V Karline". There is a large second's dial, a thick brass dial ring, and brass pendulum ball 9.5 inch. The brass weight is the largest and heaviest I have ever seen. One man cannot hang it on the pulley. How many one year clocks have you seen? .
