Hard to say for sure but the wood looks like brown mahogany. It is 30.5 inches high and has a few very minor nicks and dings. The Morbier Westminster movement is very uncommon, steel post, top and bottom plate. The left hand arbor winds the time train; the center arbor passes thru the movement and via spur gearing winds the chime train attached to the back posts of the movement. The chime movement is of solid brass plate construction. The right hand arbor winds the strike train. The escapement is Brocot. It plays the 16 note Westminster chime on the hour and then strikes the hour. At about 2 minutes after the hour it strikes the hour again. The movement is dirty but runs and strikes properly. It does not havean auto correct system. It strikes and chimes on 8 rods. When sold new this movement was guaranteed for 20 years. The pendulum, dial, and hands, all appear original.
