Came in a collection of very nice clocks from Minnesota. Walnut case is 21.5 inches high, carvings on top and around both bezels. Case is very clean, all original, polished, and has had no breaks or repairs. The dials being so drastically different always raise a red flag if you are not familiar with this type calendar clock. The bottom dial is sealed behind glass and has not been exposed to the atmosphere, while the top bezel is open and closed constant-ly, hence that dial is always darker. Time dial is 6 inch, calendar dial 8 inch. Both are original, same with the hands, movements, and the black B. B. Lewis label over the calendar mechanism. Only the pendulum bob is not original.8 day movement, half hour and hour cathedral gong strike. This clock is about as nice and original as you will find. Ly-Ingraham #254. Booked for 1400 dollars 5 years ago.
