This fine calendar clock is made of oak (dark from age), not refinished or cleaned, original finish, nice oak graining that is different in every piece. The case is 29.5 inches high; time dial is 12 inch, calendar dial 10 inch. Excellent original painted zinc dials has very little evidence of abuse, particularly PaPaw's dirty fingers or his raking the key over the dial. The most unusual thing about this clock are the labels. One large full label behind the calendar movement and 3 almost perfect labels on the backboard. Surely never moved from house to house or room to room, just too nice all over. Movement is 8 day, half hour strike on a cathedral gong. Everything working properly. Ly-Waterbury #258. Now books for close to 1800 dollars. .
