Large-heavy bronze eagle that we so often see on various patriotic items, and embossed at the top is "E. Pluribus Unum". Porcelain cartouche numerals glued on the bronze. The number 8 was missing in the picture but I found it later, with some damage. No doubt fell off in transit and got squashed by some-thing. Repairable with some porcelain liquid repair stuff. The double wind movement is 8 day. Now runs a while and quits. Unusual in that the last two clocks aren't running, after a few hundred were doing so good. New red velvet plush and a new chain on the back. Case is 18.5 inches high, 15 inches wide. Ly-Ansonia #2408.
