22 inches high walnut case has considerable cuts and designs on top and sides. What makes this clock unusual is the Woods alarm, which is wound weekly and only alarms once each 24 hours. It is a regular Seth Thomas movement, strikes a cathedral gong, alarms on a brass bell. Pendulum bob and dial ring is also brass. The glass is original as is everything on the clock. No old label but a reproduced one is in the case if you care to glue it on the base. Ly-Seth Thomas #212. To learn all about the Woods Alarm see the August 1998 NAWC Bulletin, page 482.
