2 large full labels on the back call this clock, the "Famalicao", and the heading on the large label reads, "Fabricate Relogius, A Boa Reguladora", which means "an establishment in Portugal", and "made in 1893", and gobs of other stuff. This is a very stylish walnut case, 22 inches high, complete, and original, including the nice tablet.2 problems, someone installed a new dial pan and put a Seth Thomas paper dial on it and the pendulum is Ingraham. The movement is 8 day, strike and alarm, both striking on a brass bell; movement is not signed, but is running strong. Behind the alarm wheel is a rack and snail strike count. The wire from the alarm arm to the alarm movement has been removed.
