His trademark C over W, was registered 1887, he sold the company 1908. This RA was made in that time frame. Serial number 175964 and trademark signed on the movement. Solid square plates, outside count wheel, coil gong strike. Slide in metal bracket, long lyre pendulum, porcelain beat scale, 3 good glasses, very nice 2 piece porcelain dial, unusual old hands, and machined bezel. Missing a top and a piece of trim top right. The case now is 36.5 inches high, 3 original finials, nice half columns, burl walnut on backboard and base. Will be a super clock with some work. On the back is a stamped name of a Berlin selling dealer.
