8 day, half hour strike on a gong, running real well. The metal case has been refinished in Japanese Bronze, excellent job, if he is not a pro he should turn pro. All the cast pieces are pre-sent except for the sword. It may turn up somewhere as I get thru about 4 vanloads of clocks and parts, but don't count on it. Ivory dial, fancy gilt center, correct hands, Beveled glass, rococo cast gilt sash and bezel, open escapement. The metal case is 13.5 inches high. You could almost call this one perfect if he just had a sword. Ly-Waterbury #495.
