He used a good walnut wood, an abundance of ripple molding top to bottom, fine cutouts in the bonnet and base. In the center section he put a decal of a small dog. There was probably a different movement initially, now there is West Germany fit up movement, trying to tick but struggling. These fit up movements are cheap and easy to replace. The clock is a little less than 19 inches high, well proportioned, very similar to its bigger brothers.
