Plays chimes on five rods with ONE hammer. The hammer moves around in the case. I have never seen such a thing and I have called other repair people, etc. and they haven't either. The 8 day movement is not signed, but the dial is signed, "For-----". Beautiful walnut veneer case is only 12.5 inches long, has 6 metal feet underneath, bowed glass in a nickel bezel, silver dial ring over the walnut case. It does seem to be running; the one hammer will need to be adjusted slightly so that the hammer strikes the 5 rods accurately.
