Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co. cabinet clock, "Duand", on the label, but it is identical to the "Rockford" model in the catalogs, ca 1913. 8 day, hour strike on a gong. Black enameled wood case is 10.75 inches high, 17.5 inches wide. 6 green columns, metal ornaments originally cast gilt, now black. On closer inspection it appears someone with no talent took a spray can of black paint and hit about everything but the columns and bezel. There is a good label underneath, the correct pendulum, gong, etc. This clock was in the enormous pile of clocks that owner intended to fix. Ly-Gilbert #585.
