The weight of the clock is the power turning the wheels. A double pendulum ball behind the glass dial provides the power escape. It will run when slight pressure is applied to the can, but not on its own volition. That makes me think it just needs C&O. Will probably run a little over one day. When the can reaches the bottom you just raise it to the top again. 10 inches high metal case, bronze plate, in good condition. "France" inscribed on the base, "USA Pat. 6-7-1921", inscribed on the can. Back handset. The hands look to be radium coated; therefore the numerals could well be radium also. The American version of this clock is shown in Ly-Ansonia #2299.
