Maybe you already know. The movements are 30 hour, balance wheel, neither want to run. It is evident they haven't been cleaned and oiled in a month of Sundays. The white dot on the dials says, "Pomares", Jorge Juan, 96, Madrid". A name printed on the sliding bar is "Cristales". The sliding bar in effect stops one movement and allows the other to run. Being a whiz at figuring out complicated machinery, I would guess the box was made by a pretty smart fellow, using 2 alarm clocks. Why the imprinted names, I don't know.
