Large 30 day contemporary table clock with Korean type movement.
Movement is time and strike, resembles a Korean movement. I am not taking it apart to find out. It runs and strikes like there is no tomorrow, and ran consistently here for 30 days or more. I know it isn't a Howard or Kroeber, so it doesn't matter. There are several tiny screws that take a special tool to get them out. Movement is balance wheel; gong is just a wire circular gong, nothing special. The dial looks brass, 18 inch in diameter, has designs etched or put on by laser all over the inner part, painted designs, numerals, and minute markers, in the chapter ring. The clock overall is very good looking but the oak case is out-standing. Put together in sections with different shades of wood. The table base has doors that open to storage in the base, and the whole thing moves around on rollers. The top is 27 inch in diameter at the widest point, 23 inches high.
