Condition: the oak case has 2 vertical dry splits in the front which will need attention. The case has been refinished. The large and heavy movement measures 8 inches tall by 7 inches wide, ticking and chiming, hammers need some adjustment. The gong is loose in the standard; was soldered to the block and the solder has failed. The silvered brass dial has tarnished and some of the black wax is flaking out and it will need attention. The 8 inch dial carries the name of the retailer: PEARCE and CO., LEEDS and HUDDERSFIELD. Potential here. Height 20 inches
