C.1890, French, La Ceramique, patinated spelter and marble 3- piece mantel clock set. Condition: The clock itself is in good condition, red marble intact and all spelter trims and statue sound and unbroken. Both candelabra were made for 5 candles and now hold only 3 each, two arms broken off of each and the stubs painted dark; one foot on candelabra also repaired. Repairs notwithstanding, this is a large and impressive set, and the subject matter, of the female ceramic painter (see her pallet near her feet, and the brush in her right hand). Good bell strike movement with perfect porcelain dial. Height 26.5 inches
