Condition: Rosewood veneered case in generally good condition with original finish, but with some damage to the veneer, dry split in base, and a little loss to the MOP inlay. Original painted dial has paint loss and wear to the numbers. Crystal is absent. Case houses a heavy plate fusee cable drive type movement. Timepiece lacks hands and a pendulum, but these are available. The dial reads: "J. Davies, Chester". Movement with shaped plates and bulbous baluster pillars. Potential here. Height 26.5 inches
