From the pillars up, this entire movement shows a large amount of French influence, it is driven by rope from the rear via a sharply spoked sprocket; idler gear is on the mounting bracket. Had upside down verge with Graham dead beat configuration. Nice 5-spoke pattern on wheels. Giant thumb screws on outer mounting provide stability and beat adjust. Beveled glass enclosed on the sides. Some rust needs attention. Rubber band is keeping suspension from getting lost. A rare high quality movement. Dial dia 9" width of frame 10"
