Movement only: C.1870 Jn. Lumb, London, 8-day, weight driven, time/strike double dial brass clock movement. Condition: Signed movement is in as found condition that will need restoration. The steelwork has surface rust, with some parts worse than others, especially the winding arbors. The movement has a set of hands that appear to be original. This movement probably set in a wall cavity and had an average size dial on one side and a large public dial on the other as evidenced by a counterweight for a large pair of hands on one side. Has Graham dead beat escapement. For comparison, the bell is 7" in diameter. Height 13 inches
