Condition: Refinished mahogany case is in nice condition with some scratches and dings. The porcelain dial has hairline cracks (chip repair) at the three o'clock position. Moon hands are original. The large round plate movement is not marked, has rack and snail striking on a bell, single tone on the half hour, sometimes does not strike the half hour. Beveled glass on both doors are original. This escapement is rare; single ruby pallet is impulsed alternately, first by the left scape wheel, and then by the right. Well made. Height 14 inches
