Condition: the key to the front door is lacking, so we were unable to check that the springs are good, which they normally are in these large clocks. The brass arched dial with cast shell spandrels and subsidiary dials in the arch for F/S and chime-silent. Heavy and robust movement retains original pendulum and tie down, and original gong sets and hammers (4 large flat wire gongs for the chime tune and a 5th separate gong for the hours). The right front foot is bent from being set down too harshly on that corner. Heavy beveled glass in front door. Overall good condition and should restore nicely. Height 19 inches
