C.1870, English, 2-Fusee Skeleton Clock, less dome, with unusual 2-bell quarter strike, fretted dial and fancy cocks. Condition: the clock has gone without a dome for some time and there is quite a bit of dust on the movement. Great quality 5-spoke movement retains original chains, dial and hardware. Minute hand may have been changed, but looks OK. This frame and dial appear in skeleton clock reference books as the product of J. Smith and Sons, Clerkenwell. Height 21 inches. will need 19" min dome to clear finial and go over base.
