Condition: This clock has been in storage; the gilding on the brass is gone and the brass is oxidized to brown. Left rear finial is a "close" replacement; hands are made to fit, chip at winding hole. The porcelain dial is signed "RP - Vienna", and has a pair of painted cherubs. The columns and top are adorned with ladies in classic gowns. The cobalt blue base retains original gold decoration in xlnt condition and appearance. The timepiece platform movement bears the Japy Freres trademark and is complete and sound, but would benefit from cleaning. Height 14.5 inches
